Charlett Ann Wehmeyer, 71, of Gravois Mills, MO passed away on March 31, 2015 with her family by her side.

Charlett was born on May 4, 1943 to Darryl and Pauline Weishaar. Charlett became a registered nurse in 1964 and received her BSN from William Jewell College in 1982, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She worked as a nurse in several disciplines at various hospitals until she retired in 1999.

Charlett married the love of her life, Ron on September 21, 1963. They had two children together, Greg 48, and Jeff 45....

Charlett Ann Wehmeyer, 71, of Gravois Mills, MO passed away on March 31, 2015 with her family by her side.

Charlett was born on May 4, 1943 to Darryl and Pauline Weishaar. Charlett became a registered nurse in 1964 and received her BSN from William Jewell College in 1982, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She worked as a nurse in several disciplines at various hospitals until she retired in 1999.

Charlett married the love of her life, Ron on September 21, 1963. They had two children together, Greg 48, and Jeff 45. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2013 with family in Hawaii.

Charlett had a great love of nature and in fact was known as "Mother Nature" by her loved ones. She loved traveling with Ron, shopping with her sisters, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved spending summer weekends at the lake with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Ron Wehmeyer, sons Greg Wehmeyer and Jeff (Jamie) Wehmeyer, and her two grandchildren Jake and Zane; her mother Pauline Weishaar, sisters Lynnie (R.B.) Richey, Jeanne (John) Videmschek, and brother Charles Weishaar; nieces and nephews Andy, Mark and Jamie Chuman, Tracey Olle, Josh Blackmore, Mary Rose DeLutz, and Mike Swofford. In addition, she leaves behind many in-laws on the Wehmeyer side of the family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Darryl and her sister Rosie.

Services will be Saturday April 4, 2015, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel with a visitation from 1:00pm - 2:30pm and service at 2:30. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Higginsville Habilitation Center Parents Association, 3826 S Union, Independence, MO 64055.
