Our beloved father, Alfred J. "Buddy" Wilk, 89, Gladstone, MO., died August 9, 2017. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Gaddy Wilk; and his two sisters, Claudine Guarino and Louise Bolewski. He was an electrician by trade, and proud 65-year member of IBEW Local 124. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Buddy was a charter member of Gladstone Bowl where he enjoyed league play with long-time friends until his death. During the last year of his life, he made Linden Woods Village his new home where he met many new and cherished friends among the staff and residents. But dad's greatest joy was time spent with his family. He was our champion and we reveled in his love and pride every day.

He is survived by his son, Mike Wilk; four daughters; Nancee Wilk, Kathy (Peter) Cerra, Beckie (Barry) Brakeville, and Steffanie Wilk (Seth Abel); 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, August 12th at 10:30AM at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd. KCMO. Visitation 9:00AM-10:30AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
